Metallics Are A Color Too, Right?
Confession, or more like an apparent fact: I wear a LOT of black. In high school band, we wore all black for concerts and my band director used to say, "If you think you're wearing enough black, put on more black". I think that motto has carried through into my adult life; I'd say about 70% of my closet is black. The remaining 30% is mostly gray, navy, and deep, deep maroon. I love the return of fall because it means that my dark wardrobe is more socially acceptable. One day, I was browsing the sale rack of my local Urban Outfitters and came across the jacket. It was outlandish, bright, and bold- for a metallic leather jacket, that is. I tried it on for shits and giggles; I thought there was no way that I could pull it off. I tried it on and instantly fell in love. It fit in so perfectly with my muted wardrobe and packs a punch. It's like my outfits before were a sundae without a cherry on top and this jacket is the brightest cherry.
